Some people act and do what other people think but don’t express how they really are. Many people are pressed down by peer pressure and feel beleaguered if he or she is not in the latest fashion. The fashion can go many different ways such as fashion in clothes or shoes, or even a hair style. This is how powerful peer pressure is. Peer pressure only applies to some people not to all.

Shakespeare says to thine own self be true, I think this saying means express yourself how you really feel, not how what other people feel about you. A person can find true friends when he or she is expressing themselves truly. Peer pressure attracts the wrong people most of the time, not including that person trying to act some way for a certain person. So basically act the way you want no matter what people think of you.
