Prompt 35 Five Years From Now Word Count:358

If I had the power to see myself into the future, I would see a very dangerous and life threatening life. Personally my life would be at peace because I can see myself reading the bible everyday and learning the lessons that I can learn from the writings of Ellen G. White. Professionally I can see myself as a firefighter, going out when called and helping people to the best of my abilities. I will be living by myself in the country. My accomplishments will be preaching the gospel to family members. Going out on mission trips and have many college degrees in the medical field.

My life would be very dangerous because I would be going out to put off fires in buildings, going out and save people from their troubles and animals to, if I am called for it. Everyday there would be a person who either gets into a car accident or trying to commit suicide.

After work, I will be reading my bible from genesis to revelation trying to learn new things. Then switch to The Great Controversy and read what Ellen has to say about the last days. After a few hours of reading, I will be in my backyard watering my garden which has corn, tomatoes, lettuce and carrots. Then from there I will go to my room and sleep for the rest of the day until tomorrow.

Being a firefighter means I will be waking up at five o clock everyday to do my devotions with the lord. Then I will go to the fire station to keep my uniform clean and make sure the fire truck is working in good condition. Once the radio on my belt goes off and my squad is called for help, I will quickly put on my uniform and head out with my squad.

I accomplished my firefighting degrees; I accomplished a few degrees in massage therapy and have a degree in weight training. I have already been to about four countries preaching the gospel. I am successful in my job, and can support myself.
This is what I can see myself in five years.

Prompt 34 Word Count 170

I believe the blame for Arelia Tavera is herself. This person even says it herself that casinos are like a drug and It is hard to know if you are addicted to it or not. I do not believe she even has a chance for a lawsuit, I think the judge is just going to say, why did you even go into the casino in the first place? She will not have any backup except the fact the casino is specifically designed to catch people’s attention. All the fancy lights and even smell are used to attract people. Personal responsibility ends with her, maybe she will get something out of the lawsuit, but if she doesn’t, then it is up to her to not go to the casino anymore. If I was in her situation, I would tell her to learn from her mistake first, then just like a baby get up and keep going because a teacher told me once that it is useless to cry over spilled milk.

Prompt #33 Word Count 197

Mission trip was very exiting; one of the incidents that happened to me was when Audrey and I were driving to our site. All the windows were rolled down because it was really humid outside. Everyday people would beg for money and try to sell stuff, I had some money in my pocket which was one hundred of their money, without hesitation I asked Audrey if I should give my money to the church or give it to the people that are begging for money outside, suddenly she said give it to the boy. Once she said that, I took the hundred out of my pocket and gave it to a random sturdy boy outside. Audrey realized what I have done and so she started yelling at me for about five minutes, until she stopped and just said ‘whatever”. Just from this incident, I learned that God wanted to kill the selfishness that dwelled inside of my body. Then a friend of mine showed me a bible verse that said give to all who ask. The bible does not say what to give, but in my situation all I had was money.

The Best Year--Prompt 30

My senior year is exceptionally the best year of my whole entire high school life. The reason why this year is the best because I really got to understand who God really is. All my life i knew how to pray but i soon found out that praying is a way to communicate with God but also a way for God to communicate with you.

Then I found out that a lot has to be accomplished before I can call myself a Christian. I used to think that as long as i go to church with my parents, I am Christian. I soon realized that this way of thinking or philosophy was wrong. People actually use the word Christian so loosely like saying the word I, or Like.

The very last thing that completely changed my life during senior year is that if the bible is wrong or not, the rules can truly give you a better life, and is a smoother way to live. I can see all the famous people on TV and rich people in real life how they are so successful, but inside their heart, they are not happy. The rules from the bible can make you happy as long as you trust and obey.

Grocery Nightmare--Prompt 29

When i came home and opened the door, i sniffed this awful stench that can be smelled all across the neighborhood. It smelled like 100 year old rotten eggs mixed with old apples and bananas. I glanced at the ceiling finding egg shells and yolk stuck on the new white paint. One giant ostrich
egg happened to fall from the ceiling like a coconut falling from the palm tree falling straight on my head. This must of been my son putting super glue on all the eggs and tossing them up over his head.

Then my spouse quickly runs toward me with a chocolate bar in her hand saying "honey get this chocolate bar from me before your son takes it". I reached my arm to grab the candy but it was too late. My spouse could not stop and slammed into me like tackling a football player along with the candy bar in her hand. She also mentioned that she wanted to hide the candy in my shirt. So now i have a giant ostrich egg yolk dripping from my hair and chocolate smeared all over my shirt which looks like something i cant mention.

My daughter was curious about why the dish soap, and why it turns to bubbles when washing dishes, so she squeezed it all over the floor thinking bubbles will be multiplying everywhere like rabbits. She realized that not many bubbles came out, but what did happen is that now my million Dollar shoes have dish soap all over it. I soon realized that my spouse does not know how to control her kids and they did anything they wanted to. To sum it all up, there was a party at my house for thirty minutes.

Offend Nobody--Prompt 28

I believe censorship protects people from blocking something that can offend them, but i also believe that sometimes it can help someone understand a concept. I can see when someone wants
to express how they feel about a bad person in school, and is expressed verbally, that bad person really gets offended even if he is bad.

There was a time when a crazy person in Iran, or somewhere around there caught an American solder and made a little video clip him cutting the Americans head off and showing it to the United States. For some people, they would probably vomit if they saw the video. On the other hand the video might want to tell a message to the Americans. This video was clear that those people did not fool around. This clip should have been censored to some people, but should be shown to the others for them to see.

Prompt 27

Prompt 25

Christmas Eve was the highlight of my whole entire break. Then was New Years which was not as fun as Christmas Eve but everything turned out well in the end. The first thing I did in the morning on Christmas Eve was go to the mall with min soo. We bought nothing but enjoyed the walk around the crowed mall and the smell of sweet cinnamon roll from a place where all they sell is cinnamon rolls. There were many things we wanted to buy but waited for the after sale. Hundred dollar sweaters dropping down to forty to fifty dollars, most of the stores had at least four to five items on sale. Later on that day there was a party at my friend’s house where we ate home style Mexican food that was out of this world. While we were eating the food we watched TV had some good laughs with A Christmas Story and went home.

New Years came along in a flash, I forgot all about Christmas and all the other days. For some reason I could not remember. I spend time with my family and friends at another party. I saw cousins that I have never seen before in a long time and friends that I haven’t seen since kindergarten. So there was a great big reunion, we all played video games with the Nintendo Wii and ps3. The boxing game really caught the eye of a lot of people in the house so we played that game for about five to six hours. Punching left and right with the Wii controllers got everybody tired but really gave us a work out. All of us in the house sat around the couch talked and ate for the whole entire day after playing the Wii.

Prompt 24

I’ve learned a lot this school year about English, Bible and my social skills from speech class. English for me was very tough because I used to slack off from the eighth grade, all the way to my sophomore year. So it took lots of effort to recuperate. I really had to work hard and discipline myself like never before. The assignments were so strictly given a due date that there wasn’t even one day when you can take a break off from school and relax.

Then Bible, for all the years in my life I never had to take a Bible class. The only exception is when I am in church. It is very hard to get my point across so it was a million times harder for me to explain my point of view. Even though explaining myself was hard, that did not mean I didn’t learn anything. Everything I know now came from Bible class and I am very thankful for that.

I was never the talkative type in school, but that changed when I was given a speech class. I was taught how to stay calm while I am in front of a lot of people. I was also taught that I should never be nervous and have stage fright when I am trying to get a point across.

Prompt 23

I believe estimating about ninety percent of the time you should never tell your friends secret to anyone. When the secret is told, distrust comes along and the will to avoid that person who told the secret. Naturally hate would tag along unless the person is Christian and he or she will put the situation in Gods holy hand.

A person had a secret that he never told anyone else, but it was a dangerous secret. Well this person has a best friend and would tell him anything. One day the person was questioned if he had any secrets, of course he did not want to lie so he told him that he carries a secret. Eventually he told him the secret but told him not to tell anyone else.

This friend told the secret on the next day to a teacher, seeking for the best advice to tell his friend. The best friend found out and was furious, so he asked him why he told the teacher. So the friend answered and said I wanted to help you.
This situation was different from all the rest because this secret would have cost him his life.
