Prompt 34 Word Count 170

I believe the blame for Arelia Tavera is herself. This person even says it herself that casinos are like a drug and It is hard to know if you are addicted to it or not. I do not believe she even has a chance for a lawsuit, I think the judge is just going to say, why did you even go into the casino in the first place? She will not have any backup except the fact the casino is specifically designed to catch people’s attention. All the fancy lights and even smell are used to attract people. Personal responsibility ends with her, maybe she will get something out of the lawsuit, but if she doesn’t, then it is up to her to not go to the casino anymore. If I was in her situation, I would tell her to learn from her mistake first, then just like a baby get up and keep going because a teacher told me once that it is useless to cry over spilled milk.

Prompt #33 Word Count 197

Mission trip was very exiting; one of the incidents that happened to me was when Audrey and I were driving to our site. All the windows were rolled down because it was really humid outside. Everyday people would beg for money and try to sell stuff, I had some money in my pocket which was one hundred of their money, without hesitation I asked Audrey if I should give my money to the church or give it to the people that are begging for money outside, suddenly she said give it to the boy. Once she said that, I took the hundred out of my pocket and gave it to a random sturdy boy outside. Audrey realized what I have done and so she started yelling at me for about five minutes, until she stopped and just said ‘whatever”. Just from this incident, I learned that God wanted to kill the selfishness that dwelled inside of my body. Then a friend of mine showed me a bible verse that said give to all who ask. The bible does not say what to give, but in my situation all I had was money.
