Prompt 16 Word Count:200

Fishing, I think fishing clears the mind and relaxes the body. It gives off an emotion of peace, silence and much more. I love it when I throw my fishing line very far into the water until it hits the bottom. Then lay a nice fluffy blanket on the soft grass and lay there. My body will stay on the blanket until I hear the fishing poles flexible bending sound, which is created when a fish bites on the line and pulls.

Then it is very meaningful to me when I am with my family while fishing, because I rarely get to spend time with all of them because basically all of them work to survive, and provide for the family of their own. My father works along with my mother, then comes along my sister who is a nurse, then the last is my brother which is an art designer.

So it is truly an honor to spend time fishing with them especially the fact that I like fishing, even if I am alone at the lake. Fishing is my true hobby and I thank the lord for it because every time I go fishing, I feel like my own guardian angel is right along side with me.

Prompt 15 President Word Count:214

If I were to be elected president, the first three things that I will do, and which is dearest to me is to clean up the environment so the world can be a better place. I will posses all the people that need community service and get them strait to work. They will be picking up all the trash on the ground, then to paint all the graffiti on walls. This objective will be continuous considering that there are so many people in the world.

The second thing that would do is to clear up all employment. I want all big companies to move to my country, so that people will have jobs. There are so many people with very little education, but they are still human and need to eat and drink like everybody else’s.

The third thing that I would do is to clear up inflation; many stores are not putting up fair prices for food. There would not be a problem with inflation in stores if people can distribute their monthly check for food, and even for a family. The check does not cover for all bills that a person must pay every year. So I will either lower taxes or enforce stores to lower the prices on foods.

Prompt 14 Holiday Word Count: 216

My favorite holiday is Christmas, and my least favorite holiday is thanksgiving. I remember an experience I had with my family on Christmas time. Everybody was in the living room; my brother and I were wrestling in the hallway. The Christmas tree was in the center of the whole living room. Every year, my mother would play Christmas songs on the stereo. My brother and I got carried away with wrestling and he accidentally pushed me too hard and I landed on the tree. My brother and I were laughing so hard because my mom was chasing us all over the house. Eventually she got tired and looked for an item to throw at us, but she failed and sat back down on the couch.

One of my least memorable holidays was on thanksgiving. My whole family spent Thanksgiving at grandpa’s house. There were lots of food especially turkey and gravy, the usual main meal. I was so hungry that day, thinking if I don’t eat breakfast and just wait for supper time. Then I can enjoy the food more. My plan failed because I got so hungry that I actually got sick and had to eat bread for an entire week because I would just throw up other food that I would try to consume.

Prompt 13 Drinking Word Count:300

Teens under the age of 18 or older should not even be drinking it is their fault that they have even done it. I don’t think parents should be punished or should take all of the blame for kids to drink. They know better not to it is their choice whether they want to follow it or not. The mother that provided the booze to the kids thought it was safe and she even took all of their keys to make sure. In the end a couple died because they drove while intoxicated. This incident cannot be excused it was the parents fault that provided the booze and she should get the worst possible consequence.

In the other hand it is not just parents providing booze to their kids, teens will be asking others that are already 18 years or older to buy it for them. Manly it is about choice. It is really the teen that wants to drink and they should suffer the consequence. I would want to band alcohol but it will just lead back to the old days when the government tried to band alcohol which led the creation of the bar where everybody can get alcohol without getting into trouble. This led to more violence because Americans wanted to have it. So the government ended up bringing back alcohol to even out problems, which goes all the way back to parents raising the children right and making sure they make good choices.

Parents and teens should get the same consequence due to the irresponsibility of parenthood. I would say the government and law should not be easy on any teen which drinks because later on in life they will only want more. They should be punished in the beginning so they wont do it again.

Prompt 12 CHANGES Word Count:188

If it weren’t for that extra time I spent playing soccer on Sunday, I wouldn’t be stuck in a pickle. Everybody plays soccer Sunday night just to get the feeling as if there were no school tomorrow. Lot of people want to place themselves in a different time dimension when it comes to going back to school and that is why soccer is a very good place to get away from school. But since I had to join everybody at the soccer field to play soccer, I did not get to study very long and that is bad because in order to get good grades at Weimar, I must spend every moment studying school and the bible. I do not think it was worth it now that I have a lot of things due on Monday, all thanks to playing soccer on a Sunday night. And that’s how I ended up duct taped to the situation with playing soccer on Sunday night. My lesson was learned and that was not to have a social life until I get out of school and have a perfect bond with God.

Prompt 11 The Great survive word count:: 228

I think everyone has the potential for greatness but in order for them to officially be called great; they must have a very similar characteristic such as all the other great people have in history.

The first step to greatness is to have a communication with God, in order to obtain the wisdom and knowledge that God will grant if asked and believed. Wisdom does not mean a person is smart or very wise. Wisdom, as a Christian and in the eyes of a great leader means that a person is being led by the powerful God to do his work and is going the right path.

The second step to greatness is the ability to listen to other people. Swift to hear but slow to react and go into conclusions. Listening is one of the most valuable things person should have in order to become a great leader. If the people in Jesus time had listened carefully to Jesus then they would have known that he is the one and only true God.

The last step to achieving greatness as well as a leader is to take charge. When a person knows something does not feel right or knows the truth and understands that the situation he or she is in is not right, then it is their responsibility to step up and be a little dogmatic.

It has been discovered by an American that Tilapia from China carries some sort of disease which causes the fish to die very easily. The word did not spread through the news because only one man knew about it. He tried numerous ways to warn other people that the Tilapia from China is not as fresh as it used to be. No one believed him until another person had figured out the same concept. So then they worked together and were both trying to warn the people in stores not to buy the Tilapia. Suddenly others started to agree with their discovery and they started warn. In the end all of the people in stores went on strike to lower the price on tilapia due to its condition. All in all the people got what they wanted and now almost all Asian markets lowered their price on Tilapia.

Prompt #9 Moments in Life word count: 124

I remember when I was walking on the sidewalk and I thought it was my friend. I waved at him and said Hello but as I walked closer the face structure seemed to look different. Then I realized that it was just a stranger on the street. He looked back at me weird as if I was lost and I felt so embarrassed.

I also remember when I came to school with a white T-Shirt. It was stained with a brown color on the back and everybody was laughing at me for the whole day and I did not know why. Until one of my best friends whispered in my ear that my shirt was stained I was so embarrassed for the whole day.
